What we have here in Phnom Penh is way much smaller than we had in KL, but it’s so cute and just nice for our small family. It’s located in Toul Toumpong area which is famous (at least for the tourists) for its Russian Market.
And, the front house is surrounded by the bougainvillea tree (it’s huge) and it’s really green in here. That’s the best thing I can described about the house. I’m so glad that we settled for this cute house and Mat can really have a walk around if she wants to, though she needs to be careful of Mr. Tutu (the landlady’s dog).
Basically, it’s a double storey house; the landlady, her family and Mr. Tutu stay on the ground floor, and on the left side of the ground floor; it’s rented out to a German guy, and on the top floor; it’s us renting. We have our own staircase which is at the side of the house. Plus, we have a very helpful Dutch family as our neighbour.
This area is nearby to AEON (the only shopping mall), grocery shops; Thai Huot, Le Marche, organic shops; Green O Farm, Natural Garden, restaurants and bakery. It’s just like Bangsar (same same but different).
This is where we spend most of our time eating our meal, sometimes my husband doing his work here, Mat always sleeping on the cushion seat while I prefer to read in here.
And from here, we have these views...green ooohhhh green...
This is the view of the road in front of our house. It's green everywhere, right?
The ground floor... and I can see Mr. Tutu from here too.
The stairways to home sweet home...
I brought this box over from Malaysia as she really loves to sleep inside it during the moving period. Luckily it can be folded. And sometimes, she used this box as her hiding place when we played hide and seek with her... so imaginative.
Okay lah, I'm gonna lie down a little bit with Lil Lo and Mat (if not I will have serious backache tonight)
